This scarf is made from handwoven and dyed Baule. Baule textile originated with the Baule (or Baoulé) People, an Akan people of Côte d’Ivoire, who historically migrated from Ghana. Fabric is sourced from weavers in Mali, Burkina Faso, and Côte d’Ivoire.
Variations in weaving and dyeing are a natural part of the handmade process and the vintage nature of the textiles lends additional wear and character.
