Coral Condor Short Kaftan by Beastly Threads

Palm Springs-inspired Coral Condor short kaftan is both a fabulous dress for those warm summer days and nights and a super comfortable beach cover-up. The organic cotton was hand block printed using nontoxic dyes by a group of amazing artisans in Jaipur, India. We employ ethical, green practices that are kind to workers and the environment.

Your kaftan purchase supports the efforts of American Bird Conservancy, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect native birds, including the California Condor, and their habitats. The largest flying bird in North America, the California Condor has a nine-foot plus wingspan allowing it to stay aloft for hours and float up to 15,000 feet on warm air thermals. Sadly, due to a variety of factors including habitat degradation, poisoning, and hunting, the number of California Condors fell to 22 in 1987. PLEASE NOTE that this kaftan was printed by hand so colors may vary and little imperfections should be expected. The layout of the design may not be symmetrical on the dress. This is again due to it being handmade.

CARE: Hand or machine wash your kaftan in cold or warm water. If machine washing, we suggest putting your kaftan in a lingerie bag to protect the hand-stitching. Hang dry. No bleach. Warm steam iron.
